研究方向：固體廢物處理處置與資源化利用過程、技術(shù)和理論；受污染場地環(huán)境風險分析和修復技術(shù)方法。

簡介：同濟大學固體廢物處理與資源化研究所所長，住房和城鄉(xiāng)建設部農(nóng)村生活垃圾處理技術(shù)研究與培訓中心主任，2010年度上海市優(yōu)秀學科帶頭人（A類），同時為多個頂尖國際學術(shù)期刊副編輯，例如《Waste Management》(Elsevier, official journal of International Waste Working Group)、《Journal of the Air & Waste Management Association (JA&WMA)》(Taylor & Francis, official journal of Air & Waste Management Association, USA) 和《Journal of Material Cycles and Waste Management》(Springer, The journal is published in cooperation with the Japan Society of Material Cycles and Waste Management (JSMCWM) and the Korea Society of Waste Management (KSWM)) 。
