中國可持續(xù)發(fā)展研究會簡介
中國可持續(xù)發(fā)展研究會于1991年10月27日由國家民政部批準(zhǔn)成立，1992年1月14日在北京人民大會堂召開了成立大會。中國可持續(xù)發(fā)展研究會成立時(shí)，原名為中國社會發(fā)展科學(xué)研究會；考慮到更充分體現(xiàn)本會的宗旨以及與當(dāng)時(shí)國內(nèi)外發(fā)展形勢更緊密結(jié)合的需要，進(jìn)一步突出可持續(xù)發(fā)展主題并與國際社會通用提法相一致，經(jīng)民政部批準(zhǔn)，1995年5月19日理事會正式?jīng)Q定更名為中國可持續(xù)發(fā)展研究會。研究會享有聯(lián)合國經(jīng)社理事會咨商地位，同時(shí)也是聯(lián)合國新聞部聯(lián)系單位，在國際社會以及聯(lián)合國系統(tǒng)享有名副其實(shí)的影響力。研究會2010年被民政部授予全國先進(jìn)社會組織稱號，2012年和2018年被民政部評定為4A等級的中國社會組織。
中國可持續(xù)發(fā)展研究會是由擁護(hù)中國共產(chǎn)黨領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、以國家憲法為根本活動(dòng)準(zhǔn)則，關(guān)心中國社會、經(jīng)濟(jì)、資源與環(huán)境等領(lǐng)域可持續(xù)發(fā)展問題的專家學(xué)者、社會管理工作者以及企業(yè)家組成的全國性社會團(tuán)體。本團(tuán)體嚴(yán)格遵守憲法、法律、法規(guī)和國家有關(guān)方針政策，嚴(yán)格遵守社會道德風(fēng)尚；始終以普及和宣傳可持續(xù)發(fā)展理念、促進(jìn)可持續(xù)發(fā)展實(shí)踐為基本出發(fā)點(diǎn)，以實(shí)現(xiàn)人與自然和諧為最高目標(biāo)，大力弘揚(yáng)“天人合一”的中華文化，積極探索和推廣多樣化的可持續(xù)發(fā)展模式；按照“尊重知識、尊重人才”，“百花齊放、百家爭鳴”，“民主自律、民主辦會”的原則，以實(shí)事求是的科學(xué)態(tài)度和腳踏實(shí)地的工作作風(fēng)，積極開展與社會需求一致的各項(xiàng)活動(dòng)，發(fā)揮并提升本社團(tuán)全方位服務(wù)于社會的能力；以全面貫徹落實(shí)“創(chuàng)新驅(qū)動(dòng)發(fā)展”、“生態(tài)文明建設(shè)”等國家戰(zhàn)略為己任，充分開展學(xué)術(shù)的自由討論、可持續(xù)發(fā)展實(shí)踐模式的多樣化探索，努力促進(jìn)可持續(xù)發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略的理論創(chuàng)新、知識普及、技術(shù)經(jīng)驗(yàn)?zāi)Ｊ降耐茝V和各類人才培養(yǎng)，為各級政府相關(guān)部門提供決策依據(jù)、為行業(yè)發(fā)展與企業(yè)成長提供技術(shù)支持，為推進(jìn)社會主義生態(tài)文明的建設(shè)發(fā)揮作用，努力為實(shí)現(xiàn)中華民族偉大復(fù)興的“中國夢”和人類可持續(xù)發(fā)展的目標(biāo)做出積極貢獻(xiàn)。
中國可持續(xù)發(fā)展研究會在理事會的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下，根據(jù)工作需要設(shè)學(xué)術(shù)、咨詢、可持續(xù)發(fā)展實(shí)驗(yàn)示范、國際交流合作、氣候變化五個(gè)工作委員會和一個(gè)編輯部；根據(jù)學(xué)術(shù)工作需要成立人居環(huán)境、水問題、減災(zāi)、生態(tài)環(huán)境、可持續(xù)農(nóng)業(yè)和創(chuàng)新與綠色發(fā)展六個(gè)專業(yè)委員會，組織學(xué)術(shù)力量重點(diǎn)解決關(guān)系到我國可持續(xù)發(fā)展的重大理論問題。中國可持續(xù)發(fā)展研究會的會刊為《中國人口·資源與環(huán)境》期刊，是由鄧小平同志題寫刊名的政策指導(dǎo)性學(xué)術(shù)刊物。
2016年12月21日，中國可持續(xù)發(fā)展研究會在北京科技會堂召開第五屆會員代表大會，選舉產(chǎn)生第五屆理事會以及研究會領(lǐng)導(dǎo)班子。研究會第五屆理事會由76位理事構(gòu)成，其中常務(wù)理事16名。第五屆領(lǐng)導(dǎo)班子由5位成員構(gòu)成：理事長王浩院士；副理事長曲久輝院士；副理事長郭日生巡視員；副理事長趙清總經(jīng)理；秘書長周海林研究員。
Chinese Society for Sustainable Development (CSSD), formerly known as Chinese Society for Social Development, was founded on October 27, 1991 under the approval of Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China. The foundation ceremony was held in Beijing’s Great Hall of the People on January 14, 1992. In consideration of emphasizing sustainable development and keeping pace with global trends, the CSSD council decided to change the name to current CSSD on May 10, 1995, after getting the approval from Ministry of Civil Affairs. CSSD possesses a consultative status in the UN’s Economic and Social Council as well as a contact member organization by the UN’s press office. In 2010, CSSD was awarded the National Outstanding Social Organization by Ministry of Civil Affairs. In 2012 and 2018, CSSD was evaluated the Grade 4A of China Social Organizations by Ministry of Civil Affairs.
CSSD is a national academic social organization consisting of experts, scholars, civil society workers and some entrepreneurs who are in support of the Community Party’s leadership and are concerned about issues regarding sustainable development such as Chinese population, economy, resources, environment, etc. CSSD aims at promoting technology development and innovation, fostering the implementation of sustainable development strategy, and making contribution to China’s sustainable development through researching on theory and launching practical activities primarily in the way of strategy research, academic exchange and consulting services. CSSD firmly adheres to the democracy principle in its internal management, and shows respect for different fellow organizations and their propositions, thus CSSD manages to unite people from scientific, economic and other different sectors, and fully carry out free discussions on an academic level. Besides, CSSD has also been making great efforts on the theory innovation, dissemination, and promotion of sustainable development strategy, the education and training of more qualified people, and the providing of theoretic evidence for government decision-making, contributing to the development of socialist material and spiritual civilization and the overall implementation of the China’s Agenda 21.
Under the leadership of the council, the CSSD comprises an editorial department，5 work groups and 6 academic committees. The work groups are for: the academy, the consulting, the experimental communities and innovation zones for Sustainable Development Goals, the international exchange and cooperation, and the climate change. Under the academic committee, there are 6 specialized committees themed on habitat, water resource, disaster mitigation, ecology, sustainable agriculture, and innovation & green development while all of which focus on resolving major theoretic problems regarding sustainable development. The periodical journal Chinese Population, Resources and Environment, with the name inscribed by Mr. Deng Xiaoping, is CSSD’s internal journal and serves as the academic guidance.
The fourth council of CSSD was made up of 131 members including 30 executive directors. In Dec.2009, Mdm. Deng Nan was authorized by the Organization Department of CPC Central Government to continue at Chairperson of CSSD. Vice Chairmen included Mr. WANG Weizhong, Mr. WANG Hao, Mr. HE Jiankun, Mr. QU Jiuhui and the Secretary General was Mr. GUO Risheng.
The current council (fifth council) of CSSD was elected on December 21, 2016, which is made up of 76 members including 16 executive directors. The Chairperson is Mr. WANG Hao. The Vice Chairmen are Mr. GUO Risheng, Mr. QU Jiuhui, and Mr. ZHAO Qing. The Secretary General is Mr. ZHOU Hailin.
Currently CSSD owns a membership of 70 organizations.
